If you are looking for the smoothest, most stable, best handling trike ride available, then you are looking for a Motor Trike. Motor Trike offers an Independent Rear Suspension on many of their conversions. This alone makes for a great ride by allowing each wheel on the same axle to move independently of each other. This gives each wheel the ability to address the road undisturbed by activities of the other wheel offering better ride quality and handling.

Why choose a Motor Trike Conversion from Trikes by Rodney?

Motor Trike, Inc. began in 1994 in Troup, Texas, and is one of the nation's leading trike conversion manufacturers. Motor Trike is a family owned and operated company that employs an exceptional team of people who create, design, and manufacture the trike conversions that you will be proud to ride.

Motor Trike's conversions are the top performing trikes in the market. Their products exceed expectations in the three most requested trike categories: exceptional handling, smooth ride, and superior trunk design.

However, Motor Trike did not stop there. First, they designed and patented an air ride suspension that offers over four inches of wheel travel. Then, they lowered the spring rate to create a more comfortable ride with plenty of `give' when traveling over bumpy terrain or with an extra passenger, heavy cargo, or pulling a trailer. Because of the adjusted and softened spring rate, optimum ride quality is reached. Motor Trike also uses rubber bushings on all suspension components and uses rubber bushing mounted differentials to reduce the noise, vibration, and harshness that can be bothersome. Because the roll center height has been lowered, both tires are kept in contact with the road at all times which helps to prevent rolling. And finally, Motor Trike uses a calibrated sway bar to ensure comfortable and secure cornering. With all of these preventative measures in place, the inconsistencies in the road are completely absorbed creating an effortless ride.

Motor Trike offers trike bodies that have a smooth flowing body line that enhance the look of the motorcycle itself. The idea is to create a seamless look. The trunk offers a large opening making it easier to store and retrieve cargo. The trunk cavity is deep and offers several cubic feet of truly usable space. Motor Trike trunks are sleek and have an appealing shape. The hinges on the trunk doors do not occupy any of the trunk space which prevents cargo inside the trunk from being scratched. There is a door-mounted trunk light that comes standard with every conversion as well as a 12-volt power source in each trunk. Motor Trike thinks of their customer first when designing their trunks.

Motor Trike products are developed in-house by an exceptional team of engineers with vast knowledge and experience in suspension and chassis design. This experience comes from work on one NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship, three Road & Track Formula SAE Shootout victories, and the creation, design, and manufacturing of the Thoroughbred Motorsports Stallion.

Motor Trike offers the best warranty in the industry. Their trike conversions carry a three-year/60,000 mile limited warranty. Reverse gears come with a one-year unlimited mile parts-only warranty. Many accessories are also warrantied against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days.
